Alzheimer´s Disease Post-Doctoral position 2013 Spain

We are seeking for keen Post-Doctoral researchers considering coming back to Spain willing to pursue their research career and join renown international group working in Alzheimer´s Disease covering not only neuronal pathology but also glial alterations focusing in astroglia, 5-HT transmission and neurogenesis as well as glutamatergic impairment during the progression of the disease either in human tissue or rodent models.


Our lab, Funtional Neuroanatomy is a group that is part of Ikerbasque and the Department of Neuroscience of the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) and it is affiliated to the Achúcarro Neuroscience Centre.

The opening is though for Spanish scientist reincorporating back to the country but as well for any European Community Scientist interested in this call which could be eligible to this Spanish/ European calls. Our Group will support interested candidates towards the research fellow Ikerbasque Call
