Protein engineering Post-Doctoral position 2013 - United States

A Post-Doctoral position is available in the Molecular Imaging and Nanotechnology Laboratory at the University of Wisconsin - Madison (http://mi.wisc.edu/). Research topics include molecular imaging, nanotechnology/nanomedicine, cancer research, cardiovascular research, etc.

Experience in protein engineering, gene transfection, protein expression, molecular biology, and histology are required. A PhD or MD/PhD degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, or related biomedical fields is required. Excellent written and oral communication skills, self-motivation, ability to work independently and in a team-oriented setting in a multidisciplinary environment are required.

Due to the difficulty in visa application, only applicants from the United States will be considered. This position will remain open until filled and is renewable on an annual basis. The start date is flexible and can be as early as 7/1/2013. Salary will be determined based on the experience of the candidate and the University guidelines for Postdoctoral Fellows.
