Job description
Our research interests focus on understanding how neuronal networks are involved in making sense of sensory inputs, like visual or auditory inputs. We use in vivo extracellular recordings and voltage sensitive dye imaging in several cortical areas in anesthetized and awake mice to describe functional circuits and network dynamics.
The successful candidate will run several such experiments and engage in the data analysis with computational neuroscientists.
The applicant must have experience with in vivo electrophysiological recordings. Knowledge of advanced data analysis and some basic programming in Matlab is an advantage.
Period of employment
Two years with possibility of extension.
Application
The application, in English, should include a curriculum vitae, a complete list of publications and a list of referees. It must be filled online at http://employment.ku.dk/ by May 15, 2013.
Terms of employment
The post will be filled according to the Agreement between the Danish ministry of finance and the Danish confederation of professional associations. The post is covered by the protocol on job structure.
