- A postdoctoral research position in the area of nonlinear optical
microscopy and microfluidic systems is available at the NSF Center for
Biophotonics Science and Technology at UC Davis. The project will
involve the development of novel nonlinear optical techniques and
integration with microfluidic systems for analyzing single cells.
Qualified applicants should have demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: biophotonics (nonlinear optics), microfluidics, and stem cells. Applicants should have a recent Ph.D. in engineering, physics, optics, chemistry or a related field. Experience and knowledge in optics, optical instrument development, microfluidic design and fabrication, stem cells, and computer programming (e.g. LabView) are highly desired. - To apply
- To apply for the position, please e-mail a letter of interest,
CV, and the names of three references to Prof. James Chan
