Role of metabolism in tumorigenesis
Situated in Mill Hill, North West London, the MRC National Institute for Medical Research is the largest MRC institute, supporting some 70 research groups and 500 bench scientists. The Institute provides excellent training for researchers in a multi-disciplinary environment and is equipped with state of the art facilities, including genetic modification of mice, imaging, histology, and high throughput sequencing.
We are recruiting for a Post Doctoral Scientist (Career Development Fellow) to join the unit. You will use mouse genetics, biochemistry, molecular biology and metabolomics approaches to study the role of metabolism in tumorigenesis in mouse models (Cell Metabolism, 15(2), 157-170).

A background in enzymology and metabolomics as well as previous experience with mouse models is desirable, although not essential.

Salary range is from £27,513 per annum inclusive of London Allowance. MRC final salary Pension Scheme is available.
