Two Postdoctoral Positions are immediately available in the laboratory of Dr. Mu-Shui Dai, Department of Molecular and Medical Genetics and the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute at Oregon Health & Science University for highly motivated individuals.

Our goal is to understand molecular mechanisms underlying the regulation of the p53 tumor suppressor pathway and the c-Myc oncogenic pathways in normal and stress conditions and their implication in human cancer. One successful candidate is expected to study the ubiquitination and deubiquitination regulation of p53 stability and activity and the other successful candidate will focus on the regulation of c-Myc gene expression.
Multidisciplinary approaches including molecular and cell biology, biochemical, and mouse genetics will be used. Candidates with Ph.D. and/or M.D. degrees and intensive training in the areas of molecular biology, biochemistry and cell biology are encouraged to apply. Experience in mouse genetics is highly desirable for one position.

Candidates may apply online by visit ohsujobs.com. Click "search for jobs," and search by reference number IRC38997. Please contact Dr. Dai at daim@ohsu.edu with any questions.
