A postdoctoral position
is available at the Department of Cell Biology and Molecular Medicine
atNew Jersey Medical School,University of Medicine and Dentistry of New
Jersey. Our lab research is focused on understanding molecular
mechanisms that control cell fate specifications. In particular, we
study regulation of Notch signaling pathway in zebrafish neural
development. (Dev Neurobiology (2011), 72: 234-55; Development (2010),
137: 3477-3487; J Cell Sci (2009), 122: 687-695; Development (2009),
136: 197-206). We use various approaches including generation of
transgenic lines, confocal imaging, molecular biology and cell biology.
Requirements:
We are looking for highly motivated
and creative individuals with good communication skills. Prior
experience in zebrafish developmental biology is necessary. Additional
experiences in cell biology and confocal imaging will be desirable.
How to Apply:
Interested applicants should send CV, a
brief statement of research interests, and contact information of three
references to Miho Matsuda (matsudmi@umdnj.edu).
