A postdoctoral position is
available in the laboratory of Dr. Yongchang Chang of the Barrow
Neurological Institute, St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center.
Post-doctoral fellow will work on projects to study structure and
function of ligand-gated ion channels (mainly GABAA/C receptors) using molecular biological, electrophysiological, fluorescent, and computational techniques.
Highly motivated individuals with a Ph.D. in
Physiology, Biophysics, Neuroscience, Molecular Pharmacology, and other
related biological fields are encouraged to apply. Relevant experience
(molecular biology, voltage-clamp, kinetic modeling, homology modeling,
etc.) and strong motivation and interest are desirable.
