Postdoc position in Cardiovascular Biology 2013 USA

A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available in the Division of Developmental Biology at Cincinnati Children's Research Foundation. The Sumanas lab utilizes zebrafish as a model to study molecular mechanisms of vasculature formation as well as the mechanisms that regulate the fate choices between the vascular endothelial, cardiac and hematopoietic cell lineages. The new research fellow will study genetic causes of aneurysms in a zebrafish model with Dr. Saulius Sumanas. Recent PhDs with a strong background in molecular, cell, developmental or vascular biology are invited to apply. Prior experience in zebrafish is helpful but not a prerequisite.
